    Depo Headlights vs OEM

High ho :grinpimp: I should have thought about that before buying a set of depos. Now I have to find an LC grill without breaking the bank.

    Depo Headlights vs OEM

Ebag did you have any luck modifying the stock LX grill to accommodate the depos?

If the threads are toast just remove the stud with vicegrips and replace with an OEM stud for like $1.

    Buffed out the pinstriping myself

A lot of guys swear by the M105/M205 combo for quick restoration work. Personally M105 flashes off (dries) way too quickly to me, but it is an aggressive and very linear cut. You just have to be careful, because if you work it until dry it is like glue and leaves marring you have to repolish to...

    Buffed out the pinstriping myself

A few things: The 3M 39002 is pretty toxic. If you read the label there is a fairly obscure warning that you need respiratory protection when using it. Do so if you continue to (though 1 exposure is no big deal). Given that it is toxic there are better options out there that will get you...

LED bulbs vs the blinker flasher

A 555 timer, a MOSFET, and a few various passive circuit parts and you could make a super cheap, super reliable flasher that will drive a hell of a lot of LEDs. Adding a nice high power resistor should work too, but will waste power. Someone probably already makes the led blinker circuit in a...

    93-97 Coolant Temperature Gauge Modification

Double check your solder joints, they should be shiny and smooth not cloudy and clumpy. That's the first place I would look if you're sure it worked right initially.

    93-97 Coolant Temperature Gauge Modification

You are reading the equivalent resistance of the circuit at that point. Once you solder them, they become a part of the circuit network, and when you test two points electricity flows in all possible paths between the two points to varying degrees. You can learn more about the basic...

Strange home wiring problem (mud curse?)

Technically no, not a short, as there was presumably galvanic isolation. Just a stupid daisychain of AC-AC transformers, wasting energy.
