UPDATE - I got ahold of Bohannan and extremely knowledgeable, genuinely interested in just seeing the 80. Thank you for the recommendation. We had a nice talk and I will bring it up to let him look at it sometime next week.

Engine is a 05 Chevy 5.3, Transmission is the same 4L60E. Thanks for the recommendations. I had heard of Bohannons, but wasn't sure if he was still open. Seems last time I looked at him I could hardly find anything on him. I am really looking for up here in NWA so I will have to give him a call...

Just got my FJ80 after a lengthy engine conversion + some other toys thanks to long time friend Charlie and their awesome work at Mud Connection in LR. In the NWA area (Springdale) so if you see me feel free to say something or give a wave!

Sounds like a good deal if it is in the good condition you say. I love my ARB! I got mine for $700 in very good condition. Of course, it was through a very reliable friend of mine. I say if you are comfortable with the condition and don't have a problem with the 3 hour distance, go for it.
