Fwiw r134a systems are relatively low pressure. Even with high ambient temps you won't see much over 225psi on the discharge side. Get the fittings to match up and you can run anything for tube, even soft copper will work fine.

It is a part of Gorges State Park, it's 16 miles of trails to the SC line. I believe the SC gate is closed this time of year so you can't get into Jocassee /Muster Grounds on the SC side. Still, it's one of the better rides in an area that has lost most of it's 4x4 trails over the last 30...

Just to throw one more option in the mix that doesn't get a lot of attention - Kelly Safari TSR. The tire pictured below has 50,000 miles on it on my wife's FJC (rotating 5). Great on road, better than any other AT I've tried offroad.
