Throttle Position Sensor
Toyota catalog part number did not fit my '89 3FE throttle body.
My Throttle body blades that turn the TPS are setting at 12 and 6 o'clock when at idle position.
The TPS part number 89452-14050 has the pads at 3 and 9 o'clock. This part can not work on my throttle body...
I've seen a few threads about alternative Injection hoses but no pictures of the end results.
I'm looking for a replacement hose from the smog pump to the ASV.
Does anyone have any pictures of using the HPS silicone hoses or from BoostControl for the hose coming off the smog pomp?
Thanks
So I placed the order on the 14th and it was delivered on the 17th.
The brushes came in a small ziplock bag inside of a bubble pack shipping envelope. Nothing special.
The brushes did not exactly fit in the brush guides. Turns out that the actual size of the brushes was 7.25mm x 6.23mm. I...

Just bought a set of these brushes to fix my blower motor. (Cost was less than half the price for 1 pair from other vendors.) The actual size of the OEM brushes are 7mm x 6mm.

I never did like...
Now that I have slept on it, I have remembered that we repainted the Cruiser back in '00. The Banner Red won't match the Freeborn.
Sorry for the bad lead.
But it is a good match for '97 Honda Red.
Even though it not the Dash Pot, I think the part is:
22216 SCREW, DASH POT ADJUSTING
22216-74010
I don't know the exact size, but I was adjusting my just a few weeks ago while installing a new TPS.
Personally, we have not had any trouble with corrosion induced electrical problems. All my problems have been self created.
26yrs and this is the first electrical episode.
Replaced the TPS and connector. 26yrs and the last engine cleaning took it's toll.
BTW- The Toyota catalog # for the '89 3FE TPS was wrong. It's NOT the 89452-14050
The correct part # is 89452-20050.
The connector that I found was SKU: ST4PIN from wiringspecialities.com
S13 SR20 MAF Sensor Connector
Quick follow-up on the replacement TPS plug.
It finally stopped raining so that I was able to work on the new TPS and connector.
The connector part # is ST4PIN. It comes assembled with pigtails to splice in or parts with the pins and hood so you can crimp onto existing wiring. I chose the...
