The clock spring is the same part number for all 96-97 land cruiser and 96-97 LX450. 95 and earlier had a single sliding spring loaded contact for the horn, and no clock spring and I doubt it could be retrofitted short of replacing the entire...

I’ve been dealing with some shifting problems with my transmission. When I first cold crank it in the morning, it shifts easily through the gears. Once I’ve driven for a few minutes, shifting into 2nd and 2rd is reduced. Also, after driving...

My Axel was about 3/4" offset to the passenger side before I put on my 3" lift. Lift actually pulled it back to the center, no adjustable panhard here. I wouldn't sweat it unless you're having drivability issues.

Parts arrived. They fit up nicely to the Dodge 8HP75. Will be doing a fit check on a block and a transfer case this weekend and then set a date for the install.

The smart thing to do since you're already going to be dropping the trans pan, would be to go ahead and replace all the solenoids at once, The reason i say that, if you're having problems with one solenoid it's only a matter of time till you'll...

ouch! As I understand it the front (high pinion) diff is relatively weak(er) when driving in reverse which should match how you loaded it up. I'd try to isolate the front diff with your tests to see if you can confirm that it is or isn't the...

That’s not too shabby. My dash is pretty much perfect, and I want to keep it that way. I might try this.

Sorry for the delay but here's a couple quick picks of mine. Just threw it on and haven't even used the Velcro attachments yet. Luckily it fit right over where I mounted a tpms. I'm sure it will sit a little more once I use the Velcro. Don't...

I'm one of the oddballs looking for an early ('91-'94) curved dash overlay. There seem to be plenty of options for '95-'97 more angular dashes, but I am struggling to find and options for the early dashes.

Not an early style dash, but I bought a Dash Designs cover a couple years ago. Added it to my Rock Auto cart on a whim because it was on sale. So far, it is doing it's job and looks OK. It's not the hard PVC dash cap listed by the OP, but not a...

This fits the early ('91-'94) style dash? I agree, pictures would be great! I'd love to cover my cracked dash.

Now I'm thinking I may run that pink wire to my thermoswitch on my radiator fans to use as an indicator light.

Mine does the same, prob just old working. As far as the oil level sensor, I’d just pull the bulb. Or, maybe use it for something else. Glow plugs or such.

My voltmeter starts dancing when I switch on my blinker. Could this be low blinker fluid or maybe an electrical issue? I’m also wondering if anyone else has disabled their oil light. I deleted my ECM and I’m about to look over the wiring...

It's not just the engine, it's mostly how it's put in. It can be an excellent result or it can be pretty terrible. Depends on the approach. I feel it makes a great vehicle. Toyota diesels don't do much for me. As a general overview, yes, a 5.9...

I think it’s doable, probably need a standalone transmission controller. I have never heard of an A343 and diesel combo. Would still like to see the firewall plate.

David, Are you sure about that?? I thought the A442F was used until the introduction of the A750F behind the diesels in 2002. AFAIK the A343F was never used behind a diesel. David
