I don't know but it seems cheap. Altamont is in Illinois, about 45 minuts from me. It s right off of the junction of interstate 57 and 70 in Southern Illinois.
Hopefully a mud member can pick it up!
I am running 305-55 x 20's on mine. (33.2-12-20) No issues other than one of my rubber splash guards rubs slightly at full lock. It fills up the wheelwell...but looks better than stock. I have no issues with power for these tires.
Put 20's on it! lol I may be the only one...but its not rock...
Yea, sticks way out...but its easy to get to the pin...the others are pinned under the bumper, its a bear to get to. I was impressed with the curt product. Its built hell for stought. The downside was the holes didn't line up perfect, it took a little doing...but we got it on...
I have a 1997 Collectors Edition, bone stock, unlocked. New plugs, wires you name it. I have 305-55-20's on it (33.2) tire thats over 12 inches wide. I had the stock tires on it before...it doesn't matter. If I get 10 mpg thats a good day. Seems to do worse on the interstate, 75mph is just too...
Well the light doesnt fire up when the truck is started...
But honestly man this doesnt feel like abs at all...its like having an old school car again...I am going to run any codes that my be on the computer just to see.
So here is an update for those interested...
I unplugged the amp behind the dash...viola..hooked up the power antenna wire to the new headunit...everything works flawlessly...
Thanks guys!
Ok, so I did some investigating...
My fuse is good, so looks like the light burnt out. Brakes work fine just no ABS. At this point I'm not interested in spending the $100's of dollars it would take to mAke this right.
Although I bought it off a dealership, and they should have checked...
Cool, so where is it at in the dash? Case it aint coming on...and where is the ABS fuse? Under hood or in dash?
And also, its definatly not working....slide slide slide but I really dont mind...Im sure its all there...cause now I remember seeing a post about ABS sensors on the front and I saw...
First its not an issue, I am not a fan of ABS.
That said...
Did all LC have ABS? My dash has no ABS light on, and it definatly locked up in the last ice storm we had.
So how bout it was ABS excluded on some or has mine quit and the light burned out?
Thanks ahead of time...
Yea, I ditched the oem amp for the room. I am thinking if shes gonna go its gonne be attached to the actual dash not the grill like the oem. I ordered a set so I'm waiting on the post man.
You guys think that my oem power wire to the rear amp will power a new 150 Watt amp?
I havnt taken it...
Well I'm gonna try to jam bigger speakers in the dask...I think I can get a good result if they fit for sound. I really think the tweeters in the window masts will liven up the highs. I will report back for sure!
Thanks next to the edge of the flare on both the ps and ds there is a grommet like your talking about with nothing in them...not sure what they are for but I am thinking I may be able to use one. I was hoping I wouldn't have to take the flare off to fix it...sounds like its not that easy...
