Can't blame ya on that front, Partsouq is cheaper but the duties can be a silent killer so gotta group it all together. Dealt with Watson yeah, emailed me right away with a heads up on availability and to give the option to cancel.
Supposed to arrive today, fingers crossed it isn't damaged!
I tried Toyota parts direct for the 95-97 and unfortunately, after placing my order they informed me it would take a month just for them to get it. Great customer service though. Despite some mixed reviews, they were mostly positive and I decided to try the CSF off of Rockauto, and if it doesn't...
Yeah, that is looking pretty beat up. Find anything on fitting types? I can't imagine it would be that difficult to mount an aftermarket unit, seems the oem is about 13.5 inches by 10 inches last I checked.
I would love to buy one from the local dealer, but $1047 seems quite steep for the oem unit, compared to prices mentioned on threads here, even after conversion, duties, shipping, and taxes.
That said, there are few online sources even available.
Have had difficulty finding a thread relevant to this. My external cooler appears to be on its last legs (97' LX450, USDM 1FZ) and is leaking quite heavily (visible on the core here). The Toyota unit appears to be discontinued entirely.
Does anyone have experience installing an aftermarket unit...
Does anyone have any leads on a reasonably priced OEM radiator in Canada, for a 97' 80 (1FZ)?
When I picked up my 80 in July, the Koyo unit was on its last legs and I replaced it with a Spectra premium from Lordco (Think Autozone, but British Columbia). Anyways, it has of course failed right...
It had the underframe style, so that would be perfect. Is the included hardware the same size to use the oem bolt threads, or would I need to use the nutserts in the kit to reinstall the brackets? On that note, is the bracket size also the same?
Thanks!
I bought my truck this past summer, a 1997 lx450, and it came without a front or rear swaybar. The p/o seems to have wanted that for offroad performance, but I am thinking of adding a rear bar and then maybe sorting out quick disconnects later if needed so as to not feel like death at highway...
This thread is 12 years old, but super helpful when looking for a block heater for this winter. I bought my cruiser two months ago, so this will be my first winter, cheers for the part number. It was a first for me to read through exactly what I was looking for and have an American recommend...
Thanks for the photo man! That will help when I go to fix the clamp.
It is indeed cooked. There seems to be a few added layers of insulation between the EGR tube and the harness. Next week I'll redo the insulation and reconnect the clamp as well.
The PO did an odd job, but it seems like it...
