I live in Atlanta and just received my paint quote yesterday. It is for a '82 FJ60 complete color change, windows out, sanding down to metal (I have no rust) for $7100. I do nothing but drop it off.

I am a novice mechanic and looking to swap out my stock 2f carb for a rebuilt I just purchased. Is this a tough thing to do?

my '82 60 steering box is leaking badly. I have been told I could rebuild the 60 or possibly upgrade to the fj80 steering box instead. Thanks for the link. pretty good comments and all valid concerns. Just drove from IA to GA averaged 13 mpg and cruised at 75 the entire way.
