Ah ok this is another case where they have different stats on different pages. On the specification page they list 8" clearance and 17 deg departure angle, on the press release they say 8.7" and 22 degree. Curiously both say 31 deg approach...

17 deg departure angle instead of 22 on the LC?

Toyota has stock sliders on the first edition LC. I doubt they would do anything that messes up side impact protection.

Does anyone have good pictures of the US LC rock rails that come standard on the first edition? (Or a link to photos or a video?) They're an option on other trims and I'm just wondering if they are worth anything. I'm sure there will be better after market options but I'll be looking for...
