Again, pull the rockers. Find a socket that just fits inside the cup. Use a short extension and drive her home. They go in fairly easy…..I think someone above said sealant….yes, use something like aviation permatex, silicone gasket sealer, etc…
This is a 68 F engine manifold assembly. The exhaust was cold Ceracoated and the Aluminum intake bead blasted. This picture was taken in 2017. After 6 years and 10,00 miles, still holding, with just a small spot of rust on #6 exhaust port.

I have a complete set of ball/spoon axles if you need them, short and long and both fine spline inner, coarse spline outer. If it’s a 69, should have briefs on both axles.
