I sent Lowcountry 4x4 an email inquiry from their website, but haven't heard anything back. I have been talking to Palmetto 4x4 in Hollywood SC it's the closest I have found just waiting a quote on the labor.
Xtreme Off-road makes it seem so easy, 3 or 4 30 minutes shows and viola.
Anyone know of a shop that can re-gear my 2007 FJ cruiser? I have some new gears showing up and need to find a shop, closer is better, to Beaufort so I can get the truck in and upgraded.
Thanks,
Pat
Had this since June of 2006, had it built and ordered in April of 2006. So many mods I can't remember everything. 3" OME lift, 1" body lift, All-Pro 3 piece front bumper, Gorilla winch 12K lbs, Front Runner roof rack, all kinds of Springtail bags and racks, 10 lb power tank, custom, self done...
I have a LJ-78, from Japan, still in Japan. When I come back to the States I want to bring it with me, what all had to be done to make it US legal?
Also how do you wash your headlights? I can't find the button for the washer.
Anyone have an electronic copy of an english version of an LJ-78 from 1992? Just got the truck , but don't know how or what some of the knobs, buttons mean.
I am hoping to get it back to the states. It is exactly like the FJ Cruiser. It rides nice, but is a bit beat up on the outside. It used to be a taxi so there are no smoking stickers in the rear. No I have to find some trails with the Japanese, that way I can say I have been stuck in two...
Tried SOR they don't carry parts and would order them from here just to ship them back to me. I have googled, but none of the sites have '92 Prado EX or LJ-78 in the drop down. I will try the other places you gave. I bet if I get out in town and brave the communication gap I will find some...
yeah I am looking into it. 25 years sounds like more of an emissions thing, but supposedly there is a list of OK vehicles and some of them are less than 25 years old.
