I didn't get any bolts with my Dynastar Body Mount Kit, so I ordered some factory ones ...I'm disappointed that they don't appear to be plated except for the nuts (top left).
Bummed.
Agreed, If I don't get a decent resolution on this I am fine with going on as much social media as I can with my experiences. I'm giving them a chance to fix it, ball is in their court. Like @gsnyder said, lining up the floor panels....it doesn't look good for them fitting either.
Was this pin bare metal from the factory? What are folks doing (if anything) on a refurb/resto truck?
I'm waffling between drilling the pin out and powder-coating it it, or just greasing the crap out of it.
Hey all, I got all my door and hood hinge pins out ok, but the windshield ones are killing me!
I've cut off the nub at either end, soaked on penetrating oil and have been wailing on the with a hammer over a socket and can barely make it move. I don't have a press, any tips?
Thanks for sharing, glad to know I'm not crazy.
It's fairly annoying that we need to do that extra work for what should essentially be a lego piece to fit in.
Just lining up my Real Steel rockers and something isn't right.
It's aligned but about 1/2" too short (yes I ordered the appropriate year).
Anyone else have similar issues?
