Sent you a PM - still have the rack up there and use it whenever I need it. I took the rails off when I hauled a boat up there a year or so ago. As to pictures, with the rack installed, detailed views of the sub frame are basically impossible. Never an issue - you don't even know it is up there...
They shouldn't leak at all anyway. Do you have a link for those seals? I haven't looked in the caps in a long time, but it seems that there is a piece that goes all the way through the center to hold them on after you unscrew them. Not a good design in my opinion.
Knock on wood, but I have had my Cruiser loaded down for years with and no issues. No lift here though yet. The 34" tires I am running seem to work fine on the stock ride for now. Too many real world things to deal with that prevent me from doing what I want to the vehicle. Anyway, my 2nd row...
Dude 8000 lbs? No wonder you're always going through bearings etc... Have you thought to just swap in a military axle in the back, and maybe sfa as well in the front to cope with that kind of weight? :D Maybe try to convert Hummer suspension to your Cruiser lol
I have a standard I go by in here: What's said in the Guild, stays in the Guild. Just my own way of doing things. Of course you guys can do as you wish, but one of my intentions for this place was for us to have conversation amongst ourselves we might not have in the fora.
It's supposed to be used in deep sand and snow so you don't 'dig down' and just get stuck taking off. Does that make sense? Not sure of a better way to explain it, but even when I was a kid my dad used to start in 2nd gear sometimes in the snow.
Yeah... it's funny, because the boxes say FUEL cans on them, and they stick that dumbass sticker on it for federal purposes LOL
I got a spout today to hook up on em, really nice.
Not sure how many of you guys have been pissed off about the gas can market over the past couple of years, but I sure have been. I got 7 Scepter cans and cleaned them all to use only to find out all the lids would leak after bouncing around a bit. Never trusted them since, and stopped putting...
Yeah my first step is IBS/Batteries, and then will remove one of two second row seats for a future fridge freezer combo. What's the best fridge/freezer on the market these days? Still NL, or has ARB made a comeback? I guess Engel is still the same holding their own I never hear about them.
I...
LOL you can push anyone you like here as far as I am concerned. I was set on a NL for a long while, but then decided to look around since it had been a while since I had looked at stuff.
I was set on the NL dual battery system for a long while, but after doing some research, and the logic of spikes in a solenoid system, I decided the electronic controlled system would be better. I have nothing against Paul or Equipt1 - I had thought to get my system from him from the get go...
I think the PG system is good for what it is. I do feel however the IBS gives you more control and no solenoid. I believe the solenoid system is why guys are blowing the fuses on the National Lunas. I had spoken with the guy who owns NL in South Africa, and he did not recommend circuit breakers...
