Meant getting the rig ready is half the fun ... autocorrect on my phone! Also like the idea of just having a capable rig. Looking to the future my son will probabaly want to take my rig ... then I'll get the fun of getting another setup and maybe going with a heavy duty 70 series :grinpimp...

Was just thinking that parking a trailer at a site and making day trips with the cruiser would be more practical then motoring around a big motor home. But then I've never done anything like this before so your advice is very appreciated. Half the fun is getting the right ready, no?

So that was another option. Travel trailer it from Calgary to Banff for 4 days then up to Jasper for 4 days. Swing back and drop the trailer off then head to Vancouver for 4 days and hotel it there.

Did you end up getting rims from an FJ80? I'm looking to get some winter rims and tires right now and all this offset, borehole and backspacing stuff hurts my head. Would be a lot easier if I could just get a set sized for the 80 series and bolt it on.

Just for the record ... my KZJ78 is manual ... and still running strong! Love the feel of the MT compared to my Tacoma.

I spoke with a Statefarm agent this past summer and they said that while they don't offer RHD insurance as a primary policy, they will insure RHD vehicle for an existing policy holder as a matter of courtesy. You will to move all your business with them and hold you policy for 6 months first...

Did you get a bigger dump pipe or did you go with an bigger exhaust from the bottom bend back? What size exhaust did you go with? Did you go the factory route for the piping? Thanks
