Hi Dan - since you are here, how much would a smart shopper pay for the right front ABS sensor? In your opinion is replacing it easy? It looks simple in the FSM, but I am certainly not a mechanic.
I took it to Dub Richardson Toyota. I really wish I could have posted here prior to taking it in, but was on the road without access. Do you have any insight about this dealer? They were not cheap (no dealer is) and did not seem to have much experience with cruisers. But they did agree to...
I was on a long trip last week and had put about 400 highway miles on the cruiser when the ABS light came on. I pulled over and noticed smoke coming from the right brake. It was making all kinds of metal on metal noises and was very hot. Being far from home, I dropped the truck off at a...
found LED tail-lamp bulbs (replace 1157s)
I started searching and found this site:

I was able to get the yellow top in, but I don't feel real good about how taught the cables are. I had to carve out part of the fiberglass to get them to reach. Anyone have any suggestions - is it a problem? I bet everyone with a yellow top in the stock location experienced this, should I worry?
Thanks for replies. I checked out the sight glass for the refrigerant - but I'm not sure what it indicates. I see a milky substances flowing through the glass (to about 3/4 of the way to the top of the glass) when the AC is on, and it is clear when the ac is off. I assume this is refrigerant...
Recently the AC in my '96 has developed a strange odor, smells kind of like a mixture of coolant and some sort of epoxy (not pleasant). Also the temperature of the air has gone up even when set to the coldest level.
Anyone have any ideas as to where I should look to diagnose this? I have...
