Did you ever find any others that had modified the center cap? I suppose I will need to take my tires off and machine the wheel if I need to before going the spacer route, but I wondered how far some were taking down the center cap.

Ordered new VGRS controller, hopefully that fixes it but I don't feel confident in it being that. Board looked good, caps looked good. Ensured it was discharged and gave it another go with same results including a new code.
