Hi Yah, I didn't add any extra heat shielding. There was a nice gap between the pipe and the fire wall. Also the firewall still had its insulation shield intact. If you could squeeze one in , it wouldn't hurt or wrap it...
I had a mixed bag. Which I put together from all sorts of places. Rear springs were std front 80 series coils.
Front springs were custom made from a freind.
Off the shelf stuff here in NZ are only a few choices. Cobra springs based in ChCh. Could try Force4 in akl. Talk to Phil about EFS options.
If you are based in Japan then you are in the best place to source spares for this vehicle...

I think the bearing size in the rear diff head assy is different between carriers and centers..As compared to the front.
Looking at the parts catalog for the part that holds the crown wheel on and the center, are different between front and rear....
As far as I am aware this style of ECU has chips which are non flash-able... So you cannot edit the programs and doesn't have a facility to connect to a PC... I don't know of anyone who has tried to play with it. Only thing is the piggyback boxes which modify the signals to the ecu to change the...
I got that and it turned out the panhard rod bush was loose.... was really scary... just came out of the blue. Once fixed it felt sooo much better. I also replaced the steering dampener after that too as the factory one was stuffed.

They have fitted them to auto's and with some fine tuning of the TPS you can get it to run.... I went for total manual control....
I would say one or both of the hubs are not working. The lights are on a timer and not a micro switch type indication when something moves. Damaged brushes are the most common problem as people dont know how to fit it back together after a hub service and break them off..... get someone to...
