I ended up putting this kit online at the link below. Thanks for all of the support:

Added some hardware to the end to move the link inboard. They were rubbing at full steering lock.
Also welded in a lower rear mount.
Installed a end cap that I made.
Then shortened the links to about 10in. Drivers side was lifted with a...
There are pics earlier in this thread, but they might be hard to find.
I made a little bracket to move the mount point further away. I also used flat head #8-32 1/2 screws underneath to attach it to the transmission shift plate. Drilled into the...
@Spaggyroe , the GSS-3000 is powering the incandescent bulbs on my dash. The Dakota Digital outputs are rated for .2 amp which is plenty for the tiny incandescent bulbs. Been running it for several months now with no issues. I was impressed...
Time for some front swaybar action
Trying out this lazy location for the swaybar mount.
I did build this side with a thick peice of metal and a brace below.
The passenger side link is too long.
But at least it's in and I can make...
Eventually I might do a build thread but I installed a 6.2L, 6L80E from a 2014 Camaro into my 1996 LX450. It runs great and is a blast to drive.
An important part of getting this project finalized is the tuning. I asked permission to post here...
I put the Rosen visor on my 80 6 months or so ago. Found the reduced size and coverage of the lense compared to the stock visor to be very annoying, having to slide it back and forth as you drive into the sun isn't great. The shade color was too...
A design is public knowledge after you release it without patent protection. Absolutely nothing in the witsend product lineup is patentable.
Trade secrets are IP. Joey made nothing. He farmed everything out. His trade secrets would amount to...
I think you're pretty right.
Keep in mind though that the only actual IP Joey has is the domain absolute-wits-end.com
The products themselves are not intellectual property.
Because they rust super fast in my area making them one time use. The bolts will snap if you ever try to remove them after a few winters. Also, hangers have a weak point due to the right angle that has to be used to attach to the Toyota isolators.
Yes, weeks ago before I started working on mine, but the Toyota rubber isolators suck ass.
Mine will be 2.5" from each side to a 2.5" 2x inlet muffler one 3.0" outlet.
My set arrived. Pro quality and I doubt could have come close and it would have required me buying an A/C crimper. It will be a while before I install these as I am still working on the exhaust, which is a pain in the ass.
Passenger side is...
While I haven't started my swap yet, I ended up buying an 08 Escalade that drives.
I think your question is really dependent on resources. I have storage, a big trailer, and (soon) a garage workshop. My thought was I can scavenge everything I...
There actually quite a few cool parts on my cruiser that came from Wits End
It’s sad it went the way it did ! But it went on for years and Joey was at the top of the bad sellers section for a long time and still is.
Yes, you are exactly right. In this case, I actually received a notice directly from AMEX that Wit's End issued a full refund. Still, the dispute will stay open as long as is needed to ensure final resolution in my favor.
As have been mentioned previously many times, refunds issued by his website are not to be trusted. Do not drop the charge dispute until you see the refund on your credit card.
Cut your losses and be happy you got your refund.
While the website seems to be up and running, Wits End is now in the hands of a court appointed trustee who's supposed to be evaluating and liquidating the company assets.
The fact that his...
I'm trying to assemble a very clear set of instructions for this. I believe the diagram below reflects how the ABS actuator pins need to be powered/grounded to cycle the solenoids. A few questions:
Is it necessary to do anything at the ABS...
