I now have tracking from brown Santa on a gray top with tinted windows inbound! My Visa is still stinging a bit, but it will be a good investment I think!

Recon for where to get a bottle of the local grog. Not for trails. We will leave that up to our local guide. Being that I’m on 32s with open difs, I’m hoping there is something I can even do?

Of course it’s THAT red truck run! (I figured that would get y’alls attention!). I’m just doing “recon” which is to say I’m going to hit a bunch of wineries around Dundee and Newberg. I doubt we will need 4WD to negotiate the parking lots...

Yeah, tan and blue gnob? What were you thinking?? :hillbilly: I spoke with Bob at Softopper this morning (he is a great guy to chat with) and we kind of agreed that gray would be best with a gray interior as you can see them both together...

Well, it may not be an actual emergency, but I need to know sooner than later. The wife gave the go ahead for a Softopper not long ago, and I’m planning on ordering one tomorrow. The big issue is color. My 4Runner is red, and we are thinking...

I sold 4 different 40s over the years, and 3 diesel 60s. Ask me how bad I want a couple of them back! It was hard to get $3,500 for my Aqualu bodied ‘77 back in the early ‘90s. Now it would be worth closer to $35,000! I try not to think about...

I’d go to bed liner as a last resort. Take off the aluminum and see what, if anything is lurking beneath. Bed liner is not something to enter into lightly on a truck that has as much potential as that one does. It’s like finding a Frank Lloyd...

I travel overseas quite a bit, and when I go to Oz, it’s often with the same guy. We have a running bet on who is going to do that first each trip!

Update time. I’ve just been enjoying the 4Runner for the past month. It came in handy when I blew the trans in my 3500 (again). I think I’m going to blast a console together soon. Having nowhere to put a coffee is starting to suck. In the...

If your seats are shot, and the Scoobydoo seats are less than $75, I’d just get them and figure it out as you go.

Hi Josh. Any updates? I hope you and your family and the rest of the Paradise community are getting your lives back together. I spent an evening this past fall (September) camped next to a very nice man from Paradise. We chatted for a long...

Wowzers! That’s scary! I had a similar luck catch years ago. Makes you think what might have been if you didn’t catch it! Luckily I caught it just before heading down a very narrow mountain highway with chasms of doom. My 3500 had a LOT of...

I agree. The survivor aspect does add some value and it seems to be in great un-molested shape. I think a good starting point would be $7,500 and go down from there, but people are welcome to ask whatever they want for their rigs at the end of...

It’s a nice truck for sure, but as you mentioned in his for sale ad, the price is a bit steep in my mind. Dents on box, front fenders, valance, looks like a bit of rust on d-side of box, both bumpers are tweakedetc. Not saying I wouldn’t be...
