I had a local exhaust shop fab the y-pipe and attach it to the stock exhaust. I used 3fe exhaust flanges and the "stubs" to give the shop something to start with, and that diameter is in this thread (around two inches, I think). If you don't have the down pipes, you can still get them from RockAuto.
Finally finished mine up. The gentleman that I bought the manifolds from had ceramic coated them and had generally made them pretty. Really happy with the outcome.
Cool, thanks. I notice that there's some additional bolt/stud reliefs on the 3fe exhaust manifolds that the 2f exhaust manifold doesn't have. I guess the extra studs/bolts aren't necessary when mounting these to the 2f?
I'm doing the 3fe exhaust mod and I'm not sure my existing intake manifold is going to work out. It's not cracked, but you can see the eroded aluminum. Is this okay? I'm not looking for a ported intake, but will this be a future problem?
As I guessed it's not completely flat. It's off by 0.020.
Nope. They looked pretty good, but they had some age on them, so I priced accordingly. And I figured setting the price low would make them quickly disappear. And I was right.
Now what to do about all those 15 inch LC wheels I have laying around? Hmm . . .
