factory options

I've been having a look at toyodiy.com and apart from the head, a lot of other part numbers between the new and old seem versions of the engine seem to be different; same turbocharger though.

Will a leaf sprung 70 give a more compliant ride with air suspension with some of the leafs removed? Anyone implemented such a system? Lots of info in Australian sites of benefits of air for towing, handling and load carrying esp. for 79 series. But very little on ride comfort.

Any difference between the 1hd-t engines in the 80 series vs. 100 series offered in some markets? Did the 1hd-t engines fitted to the 100 series cruisers suffer from big end bearing issues? Thanks.

It's a RHD with a 4 speed transmission. So, will the clutch booster sit inside the vehicle or outside? From the pic will the booster be a bolt on fit?

Will the instrument cluster from the curved dashboard of the KZJ78 fit in the early model PZJ70 traditional dashboard?

I had to remove the fuel tank to get at the cylindrical plastic filter. In my case the filter was clean.

I removed the access panel on the floor of my PZJ70, above the fuel tank to locate the fuel tank filter, but it only had the fuel float! Will I have to remove the fuel tank to locate the filter or am I missing something, here?

All it needed was some spit and polish.

I'm planning on replacing my dashboard on the PZJ70 with a KZJ "curvy" type dashboard. Is it a straight bolt on including the electrics or will mods be required? Will the dashboard swap improve noise from dashboard vibration? Any other pros and cons I should consider before the swap?

Looking for an injection pump for the 1PZ, preferably with a high altitude compensator. The pump should be new or in great working order.
