Fuse is good. Checked that first. Great pics Bob you are a better photographer than me. I’ll dig into the dash and find the other end of the plug. Hopefully it still exists.
Yah that’s a horrible picture. My photography skills need improving. I’m going to have time to try and tackle this over Easter weekend.
Does the loose plug in my picture from the break light switch plug into the fuse block? That’s what I’m...
Round these parts, all of the available stations are bought up by the same religious entity when they come up for sale. My friend was at one point running a low power FM and couldn't get a license to increase the power because all of the...
I think I figured out why Marge’s brake lights don’t work. I can’t believe I hadn’t noticed this before… should be fun to try and figure out what the PO did. He had what appeared dang near everything rewired behind the dash. No clue why they...
It looks like the Intake valves and the earlier Exhaust valves are available. I get discontinued on the later Exhaust valves. I didn't do an exhaustive search though.

@Midgainc rebuilt my hinges. Should have time to actually put them on Marge in the next couple weeks. They look beautiful. Sorry no help in terms of where to source parts if you want to do it yourself.
Just a FYI
I just finished getting the doors on and have been fighting w the old rubber to get the windows to roll up without a floor jack. Gave up and took it to the window wizard. I had bought the rear door fixed window rubber on ebay as well...
Maybe custom seals due to the SBC valves? I have no idea. Total newb to head rebuilding that’s why I’m asking questions. Would like to get and build correctly and or instruct machine shop on what is “best”.
They will, of course, check for flatness. I asked them not to shave it more than absolutely necessary. It was shaved once when I built it the first time.
I asked for chevy type valves in stainless steel. They'll need new guides and seats and...
@Pighead is the machine shop going to shave the head or was it flat?
new valve seals I’m assuming?
How bout valve guides?
Springs?
Spring keepers?
New freeze plugs?
Sure.
First I sent away to Jim C. for a set of his plugs for filling the air injection ports, had the machinist order a valve job gasket kit (it's a Fel-Pro gasket kit, which is OK but I wanted an OEM head gasket and Kurt was out of them so ) I...
@Pighead I’m about to either tackle this or farm this out for Marge. Could you put a list of parts you picked up for this job and where you sourced them?
I’m completely ignorant when it comes to tires. Add it to my auto electric knowledge.

Shackles I have no idea, also came with Marge. They are one of the last things I’m going to get rid of as far as suspension because...
77’ piggy. Purchased with Alcan lift. Not sure the height but I’d be happy to take some measurements if interested. No toys mounted on Marge just yet so not much extra weight.
