Just to rule out vapor lock have you tried pouring water on the fuel pump to cool down the fuel system and see if it would crank back up. I had a 77 and 78 that had a vapor lock issue but I do live in North Carolina.

No, Since the guy flaked on me and I am not willing to take such a loss on the truck I have decided just to keep it. I took the BFG MT's off and put on BFG AT's and bought a trailer to be my truck. When the time is right I will get a truck and have the cruiser just for fun. Thanks
