Make sure you see post #118 in this thread to see what you need to do when you remove the navigation module. If you do nothing you will lose sound in your driver's side door speaker.
This is 3 years ago that you did this. Is it still working? Did this solve the cold air long term? The wife freezes from this problem but doesn't seem to be a hot issue in the summer.
Thanks much for any info you have!
Just discovered something after I did the swap. Everything was great, then I removed the old Navigation ECU which is located under the passenger seat and sold it. I then noticed that I lost the front driver side speaker and tweeter. Found the wire diagram for the amp as I thought it went bad...
I finally installed the heat shield membrane to the bottom of the 100 at the gas tank. I bough it a year ago. It has been good so far for the smell, but it hasn't gotten extremely hot this year yet. I will see how this does then do the other items on the list as needed if the smell continues.
Did the Nav Delete on my 2002 Land Cruiser and have some of the parts left for sale that were removed. The dash fascia was slightly modified to make room for the single din deck. It could be re modified to accept the old cassette deck if you are handy. See individual prices below. All items...

I recommend just doing the 4 things I list in this post in the order they are listed: Gas tank building excessive pressure & fuel smell. Dangerous for sure! Why does this happen? -...

The radiator is clean. The rig has never even come close to overheating as far as engine temp per the gage. Never even gone over the center line and is usually if not always a bit below the center for temp. What would a vacuum leak or loose spark plugs do? If it would cause overheating thats...
Stupid question here and sorry if its an obvious reason but please let me know. What would the harm be in leaving the gas cap a little loose to let it not build up pressure? I know the check engine light will come on but I don't have to get it smogged until March. On these hot Vegas days by...
The clips that hold the 20AMP fuse in at the EFI get hot and the connection is lost. This happened on my 98 and now again on my 2002. My mechanic figured it out on my 98 and now just fixed it again on my 2002 for $75. You can spend thousands and get a new fuse box (if you can find the right...
