I'm a pretty heavy DIY'er but do not make my living with my tools and ryobi has always been good to me. The depth of the line is hard to beat and that you can now swap LI for the old ni-cad's is a great deal.

I used one for a few years and it always worked well. I replaced it with a Miller elite and yes it is better, but it is not a life changing event or anything.
The elite has a much bigger window and 4 arc sensors. So I can see more of the work area and I don't get flashed as often when I weld in...
I had this issue on my 62, it was the threads as Doug speculated. I bought a locking gas cap and the 4 points of contact it provided were sufficient to keep the gas inside the tank.
I've been looking for a winch for a while and stumbled upon this:
