Only issue is if I take the 200 the wife is stuck at home, she can’t drive stick. So I think it will come down to the 40 or taco. I will let the weather decide.

Yes but you need to bring the engine off of ideal up to like 1500 rpm for the alternator to reach max output. We charge boat battery this way on race boats all the time.

Ditch the solar and run the truck for 30 minutes each day at camp to charge the battery.

You guys are crazy!! Mad props for running a 200 on the con. Last time I took my 40 there I broke 2 of 3 spokes on my steering wheel. I had to hose clam a 19 mm wrench to one of the broken spokes and the hub but to drive out Cadillac hill. need to dust off the 40 and head back.

I daily a Volvo v60 polestar. It’s great. Also have a 2019 Tacoma and a 69 fj40.

I would agree a RTT on a trailer would be the perfect set up. We have a 80’s pop up trailer for car camping and it’s great.

It’s just the cost of a post lift alignment it’s honestly an easy job just takes a few beers in the driveway.
