Just piping in here to say that I am also picking up M14x80mm bolts as the ones for one side are too short for the recovery points and I’m not quite sure what they were smoking when they spec’d 100mm bolts that run out of thread before they’re tight on the other side.
It’s all good, I’m happy...
Yeah, that's pretty much my assumption as well. It's a little worrisome, but I assume they're just trying to make sure they have their poop in a group for this year instead of having to backpedal or be wishy-washy about things. It's all good, gives me an opportunity to work on patience, haha.

I for one, am really looking forward to eating some loaded up funnel cakes, an Avalanche pizza or three, and gumbo/jambalaya or whatever the heck those guys from Louisiana bring. Oh yeah, and hitting some trails too.
I think you can get away with using all one clip, and I don't remember the 3rd type when I did mine, but I know for sure that I had at least 2 different sizes of clips when I did mine and it all went fine.
A ton of folks generally leave on Sunday, Monday is kind of an empty field with the last stragglers cleaning up/packing up their sites and heading out.
And Wednesday is again kind of a half-day/setup day - the meat of the event is Thursday-Saturday, they do trail rides on Sunday too but again...

Sorry I missed this while on vacation. It's been doing great. It's obviously too large for the tray but it has stayed in place. I do mean to add a little spacer to lift it a bit.
My Sams didn't install it - I just tossed it in in their parking lot.
