Its going to get a 2f in it to get it back on the road. I can make that happen, much quicker than waiting to rebuild the oe.
Im not selling or otherwise parting with anything that may come off it.
Once its on the road, rebuilding the F and...
So you get it… In this section we like to keep things stock. And that’s also what I would do. This one has potential for a full resto. With keeping the original parts you keep that possibility open for the future.
But it’s yours and you choose...
Wow....Nice find! It has been stated many times before, but I'll do it once more in honor of this early one. There are few things as awesome as the metal on a early 40 series. If this was a 1980 model, it would be red dust.
Not that you are...
Yes it’s the one from Peru.
I think we can make it work then. Plugging pipes and maybe relocating the filler is better than making a new tank. And shipping from US or Australia will be $$.
The seller will get it out this weekend, hope the bottom...
Nice, congratulations on your new FJ25. Photos when possible please. :)
Is it a hard top or soft top? Hard top tanks pretty much the same as 1960s and really early 1970 FJ40 tanks, FJ40 tanks are just a little bigger, but bottom should be the...

I will have to see how to get a more up to date image in...
She is safe and sound and will speak to you again when the time is right. Too good a project to be down long. Good luck with the new house renovations. Both projects will benefit from a clear focus. Lots of details but that is the fun part. Enjoy...
yeah pretty much what I've decided, I was mostly stressing out of getting it out of that guy's shop for a while but now that its on my property I can kind of exhale. Eventually I'll find the right person to finish up the body, in the meantime...
Oh boy... this project :notworthy:
So we moved up to the Lake Tahoe area last May from Phoenix. We made the decision in Dec of 2022, so Feb 2023 I went to the body/fab guy's place and had a talk with him. Told him I had X $ left and wanted...
