Without making any bracket changes the passenger side sits a decent amount higher than the driver side.
I think I'm going to cut the adapters at the red line front and back so it rests in the "pan" and then weld to the support tubes, not sure...
Took apart the bench seat and will be able to use the adapters with some modification.

I'll need to drill through the tube to mount the front or weld some tabs to the bottom. I'll use the rest of the bench...
Here are some pics from the start of my Procar Pro-90 bucket seat install. Figured there might be some interest in seeing how their adapters mount. 72 FJ40 with a build date of 9/71, had the full passenger side bench seat.

The venturi tubes are staked in like that, but someone probably removed them at some point and staked again when they installed. Probably no harm. I would rebuild it and run it.
It looks like someone went after this carb with a hammer and screwdriver. My dumb question, is this anything I need to worry about (get a different carb) or am I good to move on with my attempt at a rebuild? I'm thinking these won't cause any...
Definitely looks like the wrong joint for the location - there's no way you'd crank the tapered shaft that far into the seat. The long joint goes on the steering arm to attach to the 90* "center arm" pivot. Two shorties go on the drag link...
