its stored outside on the side of the mountain at 7600' or so. i go to my place 4 or 5 times a year. so traps are not going to work. i will try the sheets, peppermint oil and a few bars of irish spring. thanks for the ideas.
anyone have some good ideas to mouse proof my lx450. they keep getting into my air box, and its driving me nuts. it is usually better when i can keep the hood up but sometimes the wind shuts it. i usually fire it up 4 to 5 times a year when i go to my place in colorado.
worked on it some more last night. If I had it to do again I would move it out an inch or so to make the winch fit without cutting core support for clearance. But I am pretty happy with it so far.
I have seen stock suburbans go over black bear. I lost my running boards to Blanca peak a couple weeks ago. These are great trail rigs, everyone pretty much covered all the points. If you see a black lx450 wheeling with Texas tags, it’s probably me.
had to turn around at the old log cabins when i cut the sidewall on my tire. i pulled the running boards off yesterday, and yanked the front bumper. fixing to bend some tube.
I got lucky and picked this up a few years ago at a tow sale. Some light maintenance and a set of tires and it was good to go. My drive way is quite impressive and all but impassable with out at least one locker. This one was equipped with f&r lockers. Hell I even have the original window...
