2H injection pump suddenly leaks at the the output flanges, even though they are all tight??

I went back and checked the fuel line connections on the pump again and confirmed that they aren’t loose. So I looked at the dual fuel filter connections which I’ve had leak before and decided to change out a crush washer I had installed and put in the correct rubber/metal washer. I forgot I...

2H injection pump suddenly leaks at the the output flanges, even though they are all tight??

That may be why the fuel was all over the top of the pump. It’s messy and smelly, but doesn’t seem to affect the function of the engine. I’ll be tightening everything up tomorrow and we’ll see if it corrects. I appreciate your help! Cheers.

2H injection pump suddenly leaks at the the output flanges, even though they are all tight??

Thanks, we have the low sulfur fuel here in Washington State. I tried to tighten the upper nuts which is where I thought it was leaking. The lower nut with locking clamps I didn't Try To tighten yet as it looked wet all the way up the upper nut. I’ll try loosening the clamps and tightening...

2H injection pump suddenly leaks at the the output flanges, even though they are all tight??

After driving around yesterday, I noticed a diesel fuel smell and checked under the hood. The injection pump had fresh fuel all around the output fuel line flanges. I put a wrench on them and they were all tight. That’s the question; why would they leak all of a sudden when they were nice and...

2H injection pump leak at input pipe issue

After rejoicing that all the various leaks had been solved, another depressing wet spot was noticed after a drive recently. I‘ve replace the rear main seal, the oil pan seal, the side cover seals. I’ve had multiple fuel injectors serviced (lapped) to resolve fuel leaks at the injectors. So, it...

Unboxed the EZ Power Steering kit, installing on a RHD Troopy

The flimsy glue on the Velcro pieces will melt as well. I’ll make a bracket somewhere.

Here’s my spot for the potentiometer. The CPU will reside on the trans tunnel for now (Velcro). I’ll probably stuff it behind the dash somewhere like Racer65 did. But for now the wires are tucked away and I’m calling it good! Taking it for a longer drive tomorrow to see if there are any issues...

Unboxed the EZ Power Steering kit, installing on a RHD Troopy

Yes! I think I could have avoided the confusion if I’d studied the unit a little more before jumping in and installing it. So, this morning I finished the wiring and although I haven’t found the perfect place to put the ECU, I have a preliminary spot on the transmission tunnel ahead of the...
