Thanks, yes the sensors changed. I put an early sensor onto my 73 motor so it matches the gauge in my cluster.

Thanks for that post, it is interesting the resistance doesn't change from 102F to 180F. If the resistance isn't an accurate way, what is? What is the gauge reading?

Ran when pulled, the person I bought it from drove it from Boulder to Denver and pulled it to put in a 350 when he bought it. I've had it a couple years while I've been working on a rebuild project. The engine stamp says F 409618. Rocker assembly is dismantled and in a box. $200

Hello I'm looking for a one-piece rocker shaft for a 74 FJ40. F1.5 engine, looking at part numbers it appears the early 2F is the same shaft.

So the rocker shaft from the 69 can't be used in the f1.5 assembly? Should I have the one-piece shaft?

Well how about that? Yes, oil filter is next to distributor. I looked up the engine code on the block, 524369, sometime after 9/73. Vin plate in doorjamb says March 73, I thought it was all original.
