Brief update: Sometimes it's the simplest (cheapest) fix. Checked the radiator this morning. Almost empty. Filled it and proceeded to work with no issues. Heater blew hot air and water temp, nominal. Next I need to investigate how I lost the coolant. Thanks,

The ad said 131K. I forgot to confirm the number on the odometer since I knew I'd be coming back. Carfax showed 200k at one point and then 231 recently. So I suspect it was either a typo in the ad or a weak attempt to mislead. Probably the former.

As always, thanks for the info guys. I do a lot of FW driving so CC is important to me. But sounds like there maybe an easy fix. HoweverI found another problem... the elusive "3rd problem". Although the ad says 131K on clock. Carfax shows 231K. So this one's out. But it drove very well...
