Had similar problems recently. I used a long bolt and a small wrench on the end, held in place with a flat washer. Slight pressure, gasket maker vs paper gasket and all solved, Suggest trailering the cruiser vs driving without snap rings installed.

Couple pics to show oem and another new replacement. These have tabs and not magnets. Great buy for those looking for a nice option to cover the stereo opening and not break the bank.

Received one today from initial print. Few comments. Tight fit between dash pads. Could be slightly shorter in length, but not much to have room for the little magnets that hold it in place. Holds in there nicely. Looks cool and compliments...
