Any other tundra peeps ditch the tow mirrors? Found a brand new set of take off mirrors for my tundra. Got them installed yesterday and I find them much easier to use in normal life. The tow mirrors kinda messed with my eyes when backing-a little hard to explain.
MY friends enjoying the 60 degree temps in Jan here. I took off work early to go mountain biking, but decided to take the family out instead! It was a great call!
You really only notice the weight, if you have to pick it up! Otherwise, it does handle a bit slower. But it is a lot of fun. I'll take 4 days in the desert of pedaling a 75lb bike, then 2 hours at the local trails on a 30lb anyday of the week.
I've never had a gauge on a floor pump be very accurate. I don't even look at it when I use them now. I know how my tire should feel. I also, almost never use a floor pump anymore either though. It's the compressor or the hand pump out on the trail.
Glad you enjoyed the ride, lots of beauty out there to look at! Definitely, some serious wind for us was between Dewey bridge and Westwater. Almost couldn't ride with the side winds in sections!
This popped up on my local facebook for sale. I jumped on it. Threw some new tires and bled the brakes. Now it's time to embarrass myself at how bad my skills have gotten over the years.
Hi, just looking to see if any mud memebers are driving from Fort Collins to GJ anytime soon. I'd like to buy a bike from some one there. So not a big transport at all.
Thanks!
Josh
Did a quick overnight trip to try out my full suspension for bikepacking. The rough sections and DH's were definitely a lot more fun on this vs the rigid bike I usually ride. Also, the Aero rack did great, very sturdy. My friend who was with me decided he's going to buy one to after this trip.
