I might be able to make it out for the first time since moving over to Dallas.

Justin, I probably wont have the 40 over there until mid-Oct. Moving into the fiance's place around NW Hwy and Midway.

Man, once the 40 and I get moved over to that side of town, I would love to join in. I want to watch/learn on replacing the exhaust manifold gasket and valve adjustment.

What year 40 did those wiper arms come off of? I have a '69...wondering if they are compatible.

Bingo...i like that bracket idea. Assuming it will hold the weight of a normal sized person. I was thinking about building a toolboxwith speaker enclosure that the seat that mount will rest on. Thx for the pic!

Tim...I like it! As for the long back seats, my '69 also has armrests on the side next to the barn doors. I need to see how you are mounting the base on the armrest side. Since i used to the bracket to space the seats away from the aftermarket rollbar, the one mount hangs out over the...

Tim, if your 71 a full resto? Did you have to rebuild/replace the engine?

That is the only local one i know of or have used. I have dealt with "Marine" Dan at Nykazas...great guy.

What do you need to have done? I had some wiring issues resolved, the rear main seal replaced, new radiator/thermo installed, and the e-brake fixed.

I have used Nykaza's on W Camp Bowie. They have done a lot of Cruiser work in the past. My friends's dad has had two 2F's installed there and I have had work done to my FJ40.
