The budget build continues with a badly pitted spare tire rim that came with the Patrol (all 4 were pitted pretty bad). I voted to smooth it out with JB Weld. Luke voted to weld it up then grind it smooth. Slow going.
The T-shirt designs have been finished. I thought I would go ahead and post them to the thread. Make sure you sign up soon so you can pick one up in your size!
I need to go through my garage to get a full inventory of what I want to get rid of, but I have a few items I know of off the top of my head.
Coleman Cascade 3-in-1 Camping Stove (only used 2x) $120
Tembo Tusk Skottle (*legs are not adjustable)...
Hey @roadstr6 any update on Nathan's choice for school?
Not to derail but Sarah was accepted to NC State as well and has committed to College of Design.
I don't have anything to sell, but have space to transport. Bring your s*** to my house, I'll bring it to Relic run and sell it for you. No commission taken by me.
No return trip though. Any unsold s*** will be given away or thrown away.
M&G was a good time, as always. Friday night was warm and dry. Potluck was delicious and Shaun had the fire raging well into the night. I slept in on Saturday morning to the peaceful pitter patter of rain on my tent. Saturday was wet, but...
Found a Cruiserhead/Patrolhead willing to part with a couple unobtanium parts - a dash cluster panel and rear tire swing with all the little giblets. Our last 2 big missing pieces. He tossed in various printed service manuals. Very cool...

I’ve also been pushing this event on all my customers with classic cruisers.
Miraculously all the header bolts came off without incident (PB Blaster and little hammer taps for the win). New manifold and valve cover gaskets installed.
Myers Park High School has a great Automotive Technology program and a determined group of Auto Club students. A few of you have attended one of their car shows and probably seen their "24 Hours of Lemons Rally" cars. Many of you also know...
Luke thought he shredded a wheel bearing cruising around today. “Quick” inspection and repacking in a Wal-Mart parking lot. Overall, bearing was worn & loose, so will get replaced. In other news, the manifold leak is getting worse so we are...
Thanks to the @thecapedcapper and Conner for an awesome Trackhouse tour today. Pretty impressive operation. I think the highlight was seeing the infamous Martinsville wall ride car in the flesh.
WTB a single 15” wheel like pictured. Luke’s Patrol needs a spare to match the Toyota 6 lug set it’s running. We have a new tire so tire condition unimportant.
Thanks, Wayne. He's studying Forestry and both of these land grant schools have excellent Forestry programs. NC State would be cheaper and a little closer, but Clemson has the surrounding wilderness and beauty. Tough decision.
Another...
