Just did this job over the weekend. For the record, two of the hoses I needed for my ’04 were different than listed further up in this thread (which I assume were for a ’98 – ’02). According to the dealer, based on my VIN, I needed these:
T-fittings
2 x 87248-60460
Hoses

The only problem is that to troubleshoot, the car has to be in gear. That means I have to have complete trust in my wife's ability to keep her foot on the brake and not think about my life insurance policy...
It is such a shell game - they could say that they gave me more $ on the trade or that they gave me a discount on the purchase price of the car I bought. Best guess is that they are into the trade for ~$7000 +/-. Of course, depending on their math, they could say that they're losing money on...
Apologies - I'm usually annoyed by posts about noises (how helpful can you be without hearing it?) but here I am doing it. I would make a video but I'm away from the car. Anyway, my '04 with 126k has developed a sound in cold weather. The colder the louder. Before the car warms up, when...
I just traded my '99 (rear locker, 160k) on an X5 at United BMW in Duluth, GA. Fear not, I still have an '04 LC. The dealers said that they don't wholesale trades but even if they do, I assume it will be for sale in the Atlanta area in the near future. So if anyone here sees JT3HT05J6X0054283...
I wanted to post this in case anyone is searching for a windshield shop in the Atlanta area. I just had mine replaced at Atlanta Glass Services (http://www.atlantaglassservices.com/) in Marietta. They were recommended by the body shop at Nalley Lexus and have done lots of 100 windshields...
I looked at that one. There is something weird about the history - looks like it has been in various dealer inventories for over a year. At least they've finally fixed the bumper cover.
I don't have the instructions anymore, but it was very simple - drill the hole, put in the nutcert, bolt on the mounts, and attach the wing. I realize that is of little value. The reason I posted is to share that there is an "installation kit" that is a separate part number. I don't think...
Weird. It does go out if it recognizes a transponder. Be sure that the key you're trying to program isn't on a key chain with an already programmed key. Really, the light is just an affirmation - you could go through the steps and see if it works. Let's say that the bulb is just burned out...
All set. The trailer hitch wiring harness was 82177-60010. The oil filter cover (seal, engine under) was 51456-60060. Both were quick simple installations. No more broken or missing parts for now!
