Is the TRD supercharger really that bad for the 4.7?

URD lists superchargers for 4Runner and GX 4.7l. https://www.urdusa.com/urd-mk3-supercharger-kit-for-2005-2009-lexus-gx470/

A343f Transmission: manual Torque Converter Lockup..anyone tried?

Smaller trailer perhaps. Or more HP. https://www.cruxexpeditiontrailers.com/crux-1610 These are pretty nice. I towed a Horizon for years. 7000lbs of land cruiser is not great for towing up long hills.

Rear Axle Leak. Coming back after repair...

Both rear seals leaked on mine. Repaired at a reputable dealership. The repairs didn’t take. Multiple times the leaks would return on the drive home. I finally suggested they anchor the seals in with FIPG. That did the trick.

Soft brake pedal then hard on second press

I had similar symtoms. The lock washer sheared on my right front hub which allowed the nut to loosen.

    80 series driveline noise question

My 100 does the same thing. Happened right after the tcase seals were replaced so I’m thinking that’s it.

Builds What did you do to your Land Cruiser/Toyota/Lexus 4X4 this week?

170k spa day at Camelback Toyota. Fresh timing belt, H20 pump, radiator, alternator, and sway bar bushings. Then once home, extended front sway bar links(already had the rears) and Timbren bump stops. Should have done the links and bump stops years ago.

Timbren Front and Rear Bump Stops

Crazy expensive for what they are. Probably 100 bucks per pound for rubber and metal mounts. That being said, they are a significant improvement at speed. I’m glad I finally cracked open the wallet and bought them.
