I have some news. Kinda good news I suppose. As of a turbo pre-order just now, I would have broken even on this project... ...had the ICON80 not get destroyed, have to start the project over again, have to buy a clean 80 and drive it back to...

Hey Guys, I've owned my 80 for a couple of weeks now, so I think it's time to start a build thread. Here are the basics of what I started with. I consider it a mechanically solid truck that needs a little TLC in the aesthetics department. '96...

It’s been brought up a couple of times, and clearly stated on the Wits End sight. No intercooler at this time. An intercooler only has moderate gains at this level of boost and the type of usage this application is expected to go through, and...

I painted the frame where the bolt on brackets touch. Then as I put them on sprayed some fluid film on that same area. No rust after a year a year or two in Ohio rust belt.

I am not sure what year your Tacoma was but I know some of the first gen Tacoma's had bad issues with frame rust and Toyota even did a frame recall on some of them. That could have been your problem. I have not had rust issues with my bolt on...

I can only speak of my experience. I have some OPOR that I got from Metal Tech years ago. They have taken a pounding without any incident, other than needing some paint touch-up. I recently got a new cruiser and moved them over. There was no...

I have been running bolt on's for 13yrs in CO with no material amount of rust or other type of damage from the bolt on aspect of the sliders. Personally, I don't worry about it. If you want to weld on, take a look at the Trail Gear options...

Hey all, I’m in the market for sliders due to massive amounts of overtime and it seems like all but the 4XInnovations are all bolt on sliders. While I’m aware that removal on the passenger side makes accessing Toyota low hanging fruits of the...

Oh and I’m really glad I spent the time to do the new AC bracket for the turbo to pull the AC hose away from the J-Pipe. On Test Mule #1, you know the one SEMA didn’t destroy, there was no modification made to the bracket. It was 3/8” away from...

Couple of updates before I head out for the week: • I just placed the order for all of the wastegates I’m planning on for this run. TIAL agreed not to etch the distributor’s name on them so that of course...these will all be Wits’ End 😉 They...

Good luck, and safe travels. Also, add checking the lug nuts to you’re pre departure list. Few things suck worse than wheel hub separation 300 miles after purchase! Also, we can compare temps. I’m running Trail Specs 3 piece louvre set.

Getting in on the ground floor is getting one of the first 25 turbo kits. I heard Joey is going to wear 25 pairs of pink panties, autograph them, & send them out with the initial run. 😂
