    I'm at 384,5xx. Wife drove it today. It'll probably be 384,6xx by this evening. We'll have to do something special for 400k but with the mileage we put on the old girl these days that's probably two years away.

    Truck was running rough and giving a P0305 code. Pulled the spark plug and it was all to hell. So replaced plugs, wires, cap and rotor while I was at it. Running like a champ now.

    After 14 years, I gave up on Colorado (A.K.A. Eastern California) last year. I have a very love/hate relationship with Colorado. I love what it used to be and I hate what it turned into. :(

    My '95 has 380k and has never had any major work done on it. Knock on wood. It'll eventually get an LS drivetrain swap but I wanna see how long this thing is gonna go first.

    Probably just comes down to availability. 4L60s are everywhere. 4L80s are everywhere. 4L65s came in a much narrower range of applications.

There's nothing "wrong" with the 60 series per se, but I've had a Tahoe or a Yukon for 20 years and I've always started having transmission issues around 125k with basically soccer mom style usage. I just think the 60 series isn't robust enough to deal with...
