So I think the Michelin Defender is the perfect all-terrain tire... (For most of us)

Picked up a set for my wife’s ‘19 and drove Houston to Vail and back over the last week and really enjoyed their performance over the stock Dunlops. I have KO2s on my ‘10 which we usually take and I really couldn’t tell any difference between the two in snow and icy conditions.

    PVC valve replacement

Anything to know before attempting to replace? I have 208k on my ‘10 and am certain mine has not been touched!

What have you done to your 200 Series this week?

Replaced the clock spring on my ‘10 with 208k miles to fix the partially non-functioning horn.

    Broken CV Joint clamp question

I may have! Assuming the bottom of the picture is the wheel side, the red circle is the clamp in question. Thanks!

    Broken CV Joint clamp question

Noticed my driver side clamp (driveshaft on the wheel side) is broken during my yearly oil change. No grease has leaked out. Is this fix as easy as getting a new metal clamp and installing it? Thanks!

    Center diff lock doesn't lock

OP- How old is your battery? I had this issue intermittently with my ‘10. At the same time, I had starting issues and changed my battery. Ended up needing a new starter but my CDL light has not come on since. Perhaps it’s a coincidence but others have mentioned an old battery as a possible cause.

    200 series picture thread

Houston>Keystone>Houston over the last week or so. As always, mountain goat in the snow. 180k on the odometer, no worries! Says cruiser on the other side. My kids get it

    Deer casualty

Know the feeling! Got her fixed and still driving 6 years later! If you look closely at the last photo, you will see where the buck’s horns hit the driver side door panel when he spun around from the hit. And yes that is deer poop on the leading edge of the door! Still drivable afterwards (I...

    Starter failure poll

It’s on the lower passenger side of the 5.7l motor. See my pictures right above your post. It is under the intake manifold on the 4.7l (100 Series). Ask me how I know! My mechanic says the 4.7l is easier (less hours) to replace than the 5.7 on the LC. He also said the starter is easier on the...
