I have seen many 3-fe's go into the high 300's some even 400. They are a blast to work on and there is a lot of support out there! Just know that if it has 291,000 miles it wasn't a lemon, and eventually something will need fixed :wrench: check it out try the ac, make sure the diff lock works...

Now you will be getting all kinds of letters claiming you struck it rich, well like they say "you learn something everyday"!!! maybe next time give them your junk email address.

thanks finally i found what the golden screw is! It is in fact located just under the efi and to the left about an inch. it is just a round screw that is golden and looks as if it is flush but when tightened i was able to turn mine three rotations. It lower my idle and also did help the bottom...

92 3fe 150,000 miles proud owner! I will be around for the long haul, for i plan on having this beast till the end. I am interested in any tips and advice. If you have the 3fe, i would love to hear about your experiences.

Idaho dirt rider I just recently bought my Land Cruiser, it's a 92 with of corse the 3FE! I bought it with 150,000 miles for 4300 cash. One steal of a deal, it came with a whole folder of records since it was first purchased. It even has a sales reciept from 1995 someone bought it for 29,000...
