Same!, I drive the snot outta my 6bt swapped cruiser.So far a couple ujoints,couple flange bolts and 5 out of 6 lug studs at once.Slightly different setup than most as I used the getrag,np205 combo but all the hard parts are holding up!

If you aren't dead set on an automatic and have fab skills a 12v,getrag& np205 swap is possible without any adapters.Just have to replace and relocate the fuel tank.
