I think this shows this original truck in this condition is well worth the asking price.
My experience with the '78 40 with front factory discs and converted rear disc with stock MC was that without an adjustable proportioning valve, firm braking on any "loose" surface caused the rears to lock up. I also tried an offbrand valve...
The 60 is preparing for its next phase in life. I've always tried to be patient and find the specific parts that let me build this truck exactly like I want it to be.
It's a tool before a classic truck, and I won't change that.
So, the 2F is...
I can't stop thinking about how the past three cruisers you have put on BAT, would have done if you posted them last year. I hope tomorrow it makes sense for you!
During this week, we removed most of the underneath; then the body is going to be off soon for the best results
Stuff to clean.
Stuff for powder coating.
Up and Up.
I may acquire a truck soon that needs another truck to share the container. I'll provide a shipping quote by this week. If you buy we are shipping end of April or the beginning of May.
Don't miss it out yall it is a solid truck
Thank you for the order, the kind words/support and for taking the time to post this.
We firmly believe that proper tech support SHOULD ALWAYS be part of any parts purchase.
Happy to help!!!!

Back on daily driver duty baby!
*really would have been nice to have swapped the coil springs and dobinsons MRR shocks over BEFORE i drove this thing From Tennessee to Oregon
If you build a 3FE, you definitely want to understand, it is NOT a high RPM motor. As in, less so than the 2F even. Those short rods and short pistons in a short block (not a shortblock) with a long stroke... makes for some nasty side loading on...
I am sure you have checked, but the last time I fought a driveline mystery vibration, I had put the driveshaft together slightly out of phase.
Congrats on the project, looks great!
I ran Chevy valves in my 2F head at the last rebuild on the advice of Jim C. 1.50"int & 1.84"exh iirc. You can then use a stock Ford 11/32" valve seal without altering the head at the seal boss. Just an FYI.
I started watching BAT several months ago thinking I could get a good idea of the used Land Cruiser market, but after watching and seeing auction results (your 45 in particular) I am more confused than ever. Seems like there is really no rhyme...
Last week I did ca. 1100 mile round trip from AL-LA-AL and will do something similar but with more miles next week. My odo rolled over 490xxx last trip and by the end of summer it'll be >500,xxx. Land Cruisers were built to be driven.
Humm, I thought I might not finish this project; I was busy preparing trucks for the USA and one FJ62 for local clients. But now I have the time!
The restoration is going to be as OEM as I can. All parts you will see in the future are original...
Length of pump and the pulley vary too.
I missed the 'no fan clutch' variant @FJROSS is after. That is likely this unit:
