Take me off the waitlist for the headlights, I'm good but is there any news on the 'warm white' led interior kits? I'm still interested in that, let me know!
Hello,
I’m thinking about upgrading the low and high beams to projector hids white light around 4500k or similar, and the interior lights to warm white LED on my 06’ 100 series LC. Can you put me in the wait list?
Sounds like it’s worth further investigation. I suppose we could also program it to keep the power circuit on as long as the system needs to go into L.
Nice work! I don’t really want to mess with control arms but if that’s what’s going to be the key ingredient I might have to… Let us know how the ride changed!
I’m thinking a relay and a raspberry pie could tackle this but retraining myself to press low as I’m pulling into a spot is easier to do :)
Any other parts I should replace while I’m doing this? Have sway bar end links, bushings, shock cushions, shock bushings, ss brake lines, accumulators...
I’m glad you all have a sense of humor. But seriously, I was thinking about how the Lexus LS430 had a similar system and it goes low for highway speeds and high for parking if I recall. Anyway no big deal but I liked the useless box lol. More parts on order will keep you all updated.
Referencing the threads recommended here are the parts received:
90948-01003 (2) Shock Cushions
90903-89016 (2) Shock Bushings
90385-19010 (2) Shock Bushings
More to come.
Thanks for the input. Did fluid, adjusted torsion bars, upped the tire pressure for the ko2s to 40 psi all around, everything seems like it’s good to go now. Seems much more back to how it “should” feel. To your point about bushings, is there a brand / set you’d recommend, do them all or are...
Will do. The “fog” i noticed would come out of the dash vents and fog up the windshield and front windows when the car was heating up or driving around. It continued after fixing the heater tee so I didn’t think it was related. I vacuumed out the cabin air filter box and blower motor and blew...
Update-
After driving the truck for about 30min multiple times over the past days and cranking the heater to max as long as possible the kseal seems to have worked its way through the system. Lots of flakes of I guess dried or bonded pink coolant blew out into the passenger and driver floor...
