I was going to mention this. My dad had a supercharged 95 impala SS and he had nothing but trouble from the opti spark. Alot of the trouble is simply where its located on the engine. Tough to get to. Not sure if it will be easier on the cruiser but it sounds like a good project. Good luck.

yup. now i am on the hunt for the cruza. I have seen a couple white ones on ebay but they either have too many miles or no lockers. One of both is on there now.

WTB 80 series I am looking for an 80 series Land Cruiser. I want a white with with tan interior with lockers and less then 120,000 miles. Price is not as big an issue as condition. The less rust the better. I would consider a black one. If anyone can point to one that would be great...

yeah the side posts are not for a winch. there is too much draw.

i'm pretty sure that the winch version is built stronger to take the added stress. you would have to brace the hell out of it to make it work.

I pulled an excusion on of a ditch before with my x8000i and a snatch block. I personally would feel safer with the 9500xp on my cruiser. I think the m12000 is overkill.
