Hey Everyone,
A few weeks ago I took my A/C system apart as it was completely empty.
I replaced all seals and was just putting it back together as I noticed that all pipes have a hole for a spring dowel pin (if this is even the correct word - sorry I'm no native speaker), but only a few...
Had a similar issue.
Turned out to be something different, though.

I just had this problem and got it fixed.
Inside the two white worm drive housings (one is attached to the motor) there seemed to be some sort of rubber washer.
Those washers had deteriorated to a gooey substance in all four housings.
One seat was not moving at all anymore as the whole gear was...

Still begs the question what this mysterious Toyota ECU is for and...
Hey everyone,
I have bought another HDJ80 a while ago and am now in the process of getting her ready for a trip.
Doing so I found an ECU Immobilizer (89780-60050, 627435-000, IMS-05A) above the gas pedal whichs plug is disconnected.
Does anyone know what this does and how it can be...
Hey everyone,
I got myself one of those TJM knock-offs.
Looks exactly like the TJM Airtec (011SAT0080A).

Sorry for the late reply.
That is the same bearing I got. However, my box is still not back together as I ended up buying a second 80 Series in better condition.
Either way: I measured every part I took out. That one is 19x35x7.
NSK 1935W05A should fit too.
As my ACSD fell apart with a loud clunk whilst driving, I'm am just wondering the same.
I'm leaning towards looping, but am not quite sure and haven't decided yet.
Diesel Power Systems offers the following kit which contains block off caps.

I ended up gluing it in.
Hopefully I won't have to figure out that a torch is not gonna cut any time soon :D
I'd still appreciate your input on this matter, though.
Cheers,
Mark
Hey everyone,
I'm currently putting back together my timing gears.
Upon checking how the new injection pump bearing will fit the aluminium housing I noticed that it falls straight into the bore and that the outer race can be spun by hand.
Is this by design and somehow tightens when getting hot...
Great to hear that I have been able to finally give back something to this incredible community.
It has given me so much over the years and saved me countless bucks :)
However, again a question, haha :D
Does anyone know a part number for the Teflon seal within the detachable outer valve body...
Great to hear, mate :)
Took me quite a while to find these numbers and I also bought them on a whiff only.
Which ones did you end up using? As mentioned earlier the 90562-33008 feel rather rough compared to 90560-33003.
I am going with 90560-33003 as soon as time allows... So far I have only put...
My best bet so far is 90560-33003 or 90562-33008.
They are the same size as the original and should fit from what I can see. However, the material is different.
90560-33003 has a smooth finish and 90562-33008 seems rather rough.
Both are black, but that shouldn't matter as long as they seal...
