I have a locked '91 Hdj81 that I'm considering parting ways with. It's been parked for a couple years and so would need some love to be drivable. Located in Nanaimo.
If I remember right, you have to remove the fixed glass panel behind the window. I think the window has to be down for this. I think 1 screw 2 bolts holds the vertical divider on the inside.
I recently had my truck painted at Rustblasters off of Lickman Rd in Chilliwack. He sandblasted the powder coat off of my aluminum rims for a reasonable price. I think he rents out his paint booth to DIYers too. Overall I was very happy with the transaction... Worked with me to find solutions...
That trail might be getting alot more use now that Expidition Overland mapped it out and filmed their trip. Not sure how I feel about that... Provides a bit of motivation to do it again before it is too used,/abused, etc.

I was wondering if there those new compact "jump start" battery packs would be a viable alternative for powering a 12v fridge for a couple days when you are camped and the vehicle is off.
