Two years later my rattle can paint is holding up great. From hot nutsac (Sacramento) weather to the middle of the ocean high humidity and constant rain. Living down 2 miles of dirt roads in a rain forest this paint has held up much better then expected. Prep prep prep and you'll be set.

I used hunters 4x4 shop in citrus heights to replace all my suspension bushings and put in my rear airbags with the wits end coil bracket a couple months ago. They also worked on my 40 before I sadly sold it to be a jungle hippy.
They do great work and I would highly recommend them. They DON'T...
Man that is THE BEST detailed explanation I have seen. Thank you for the wealth of knowledge and the detail in which you laid it out.
Usually finding fixes on mud is easy but this took a bit of searching.
I ordered a new assembly and it's backordered but luckily not discontinued. I'll most...
Damn Toyota don't make this one easy. I've replaced the ignition switch and the ignition tumbler only to find it's this p.i.a part that is no longer available. Been broke down for 3 weeks in the jungle waiting on parts.
Toyota has quite the racket on getting parts in or to Hawaii. The local...
Body and tub have been sprayed in 2k epoxy. 5/26. If my buyer falls through on 5/28 it gets raptorlined 5/29 and I will reassemble and keep it and curse myself forever posting such for sale adds. L
People love raptorliner on landcruisers 😀 I have a buyer coming for it Saturday who wants it in epoxy primer and he will take it straight to the body shop to paint a factory color.
If sale falls through I will finish it my way and keep it forever like I planned. I'm moving to the jungle. Its...

I have a policy with hagerty for my 71 FJ40. I need to get better insurance on my 97 40th anniversary, thanks for reminding me.
The only way Hagerty will insure my FJ40 is if it is in a garage 24/7 and you can prove you and your wife (if you have one) both have daily drivers.
Hagerty told me...

I still can't post pics on mud but can easily post pics on craigslist. Hopefully this helps. 🥃🤙
There is no interior parts place to put this. Since the heater core is hooked to the motor this was my best option to post.
I took all of my heater parts out of my 1971 built 10/70 FJ40. Everything works I just don't need it anymore. Heater core with the shroud around it, fan and the tube for...
